To kick off 2019, TEN are joining in with Tay Cities Business week to bring a topical event revolving around the growing offshore renewables sector and its needs from suppliers.
In particular, we will be welcoming speakers from both Seagreen Wind Energy and Montrose Port.
Seagreen is a company headquartered in Tayside, who want to work with local stakeholders and businesses to ensure that the economic benefits of Seagreen are fully capitalised in the local area as much as possible. Seagreen represents one of the largest construction projects in Scotland, and will create hundreds of jobs during construction and then the operational life of the site. With an estimated lifetime expenditure of around £5.7 billion they are excited to come and meet with you to highlight and maximise the opportunities.
Nik Scott-Gray, Chief Executive of Montrose Port will provide an update to ongoing developments at the port. Nik Scott-Gray is an experienced port and logistics professional. From the beginning of his career in 1988, as a P&O graduate trainee, he has amassed experience in the operational, financial and strategic management of vessels and ports along the UK’s east coast
